Supporting our Local Hospice
St. Wilfrid’s Hospice in Eastbourne, celebrated its 27th anniversary in 20010. Phoenix Choir has helped to support its building fund, by singing carols both at The Michelham Priory Craft Fair in November 2008 and Eastbourne’s Arndale Centre in December 2008 and 2009 and later this year. This year our performance of Mendelssohn Elijah - which celebrated his 200th Anniversary – on January 31st, the retiring collection also went to the hospice.
